Branches Atelier is committed to creating high-quality, creative, dynamic, educational programs for children, families and educators. We are a social constructivist program, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education.

Based on our fundamental belief that children learn best when their work is meaningful and in a social context, we integrate all areas of curriculum though short-term explorations and long-term project . Children are viewed as protagonists in their learning and are encouraged to work in collaboration with their peers to co-construct new theories and ideas.

Preschool Program

-~- PRESCHOOL PROGRAM -~-

Currently we offer 4 to 5 preschool classes,

each for thirteen children aged 2 yrs & 9 months to 5 years

Full Day

• Monday – Friday 8:30 am-4:00pm (12:30 release on Fridays)

Morning Classes

• Monday – Friday AM 8:30 am-1:00 pm (12:30 release on Fridays)

• Monday – Thursday AM 8:45 am-1:15 pm

AFternoon classes

• Monday – Thursday PM 1:15 pm – 5:15 pm

Transitional Toddler

• Fridays 9AM – 12PM

The programs are staffed by co-teachers, in addition to the atelierista/director,  resulting in a ratio of 6:1, often 4:1.

Our school year runs ten months from September through June.

We are closed for four weeks vacation during the school year, two weeks for winter and two weeks for spring break.

In addition to national holidays, we are closed for five days throughout the year for professional development.

In July, we offer a four-week summer camp, which follows a schedule similar to the school-year preschool program.

*Nature Walks and Field trips will not be scheduled during the time of Covid
